Craft of the Toymaker: Lloyd Nelson's Toys
You may have noticed the colorful toys lined up in the library display windows in September, and again this month. They were made by Lloyd Nelson, a mechanical engineer who held 27 patents related to high-speed food processing machinery. Upon retirement, he applied his mechanical skills to designing toys, some of which won national woodworking awards!
Learn more about this mechanical genius and toymaker on Monday, November 21 at 6:30pm in the Crawford Room. Lloyd's toys will be on display through November 30, viewable during regular library hours. Call 577-READ for more information.
Family Night: Thankful Turkeys
