Dragon Stories @ Your Library
Meet dragons and hear their tales at the Natrona County Public Library in downtown Casper, Wednesday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. The show will also be held at the Mills branch library, Thursday, July 21 at 2 p.m. Estelle the mouse is planning a 500th birthday party for her friend Zed the dragon by inviting dragon friends from around the world. Kids and families will enjoy hearing the stories Markie Scholz dreams up, told through her fascinating cast of puppet characters. Program attendance is limited for the safety of the children, so arrive early to save your space!
This event is part of the summer reading programs at your library, running now through July 30 at all library branches. All events are free and open to the public. Breaking Into the Music Business
Got talent? Learn how to get noticed! Aspiring singers, songwriters and musicians can find out how to break into the music business first-hand from a Nashville insider Monday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Natrona County Public Library.
Nashville producer and former country singer Gabriel Farago will present tips, tricks and strategies for navigating the world of professional music and production. Although Farago specializes in Country and Christian music, his suggestions will go a long way in helping musicians enter any musical field.
The event will include a talent contest, allowing local singers to show their talents and hear suggestions for improvement, straight from the mind of a producer. Please call 577-READ ext. 2 to find out more.
Family Game Night: Uno
Family Game Night at the library will feature "Uno" on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. during Family Night at the Natrona County Public Library. Dinner will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Both families and individuals are welcome to participate. NCPL is committed to offering programs that strengthen families and our community. Elstun's Comedy Magic Hour
Looking for a free, fun, family show full of magic and humor? Your library is the place to go! The Elstun's Comedy Magic Hour will show at the Natrona County Public Library in downtown Casper Tuesday, July 26 at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Thursday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m., with a final show at the Mills branch library Thursday, July 28 at 2 p.m. All events are free and open to the public, but attendance is limited for the safety of the children – arrive early to save your space!

Summer Reading Ends: Last Day for Prizes
Summer Reading programs at the Natrona County Public Library end Saturday, July 30. Kids, teens and adults who have been logging books read or time spent reading should return their reading logs to any library branch to receive prizes and be entered into drawings. The children's and teens' grand prizes will be awarded at the "Summer Movie" Wednesday, August 3 at 2 p.m. Adults who win prizes will be notified by phone after August 1.
