If you or a loved one was experiencing chronic pain and needed therapy, would you know where to turn? There are several choices in our community, and Central Wyoming Therapy stands out as an excellent choice.

Cheryl Keffeler, who opened the practice in November of 2006, is highly qualified and says it is exciting and fun to work for herself. She earned her occupational therapy degree in 2000 and her master's degree in 2008, both from the University of North Dakota. She describes what she does as "helping people develop skills for the job of living." Depending on the client's needs, Cheryl helps them work on functional goals such as developing range of motion in order to perform a number of tasks like dressing, driving, doing the dishes, or working.

Central Wyoming Therapy is uniquely special in several ways. Cheryl believes in using a holistic approach so she incorporates yoga and massage therapy into her clients' plans. Her staff also uses more hands-on methods and less electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Her office hours are generally Monday through Thursday from 8-6 and Friday from 8-4, but she is very flexible and will see patients in the evenings and even on Saturdays. And for clients that cannot make it into the office, Cheryl and her staff make house calls! Cheryl strives to keep her clients' costs down and she also bills virtually every insurance provider for her patients.

Central Wyoming therapy provides treatment for chronic pain, neurological disorders, and surgery preparation and recovery. They have a preventative wellness program and aquatic therapy. Another service Central Wyoming Therapy provides is ergonomic assessment. This means that Cheryl will come to your home or place of employment and evaluate your phones and office furniture. Then she will make recommendations to adjust your environment for comfort and prevention of injury.

Cheryl's practice has been expanding steadily. Her vision for the future includes continued growth and adding a physical therapist to complete her team.

To take advantage of the wide array of services offered by Cheryl and her staff, call 307-472-3327 and make an appointment today. Central Wyoming Therapy is located at 201 East 2nd Street, Suite 18 in the Atrium Plaza. As you go down to the lower floor and step from the elevator, you will see their fully equipped gym complete with exercise balls, machines, and changing rooms on your right. On your left you will find their warm, inviting office. Step inside and begin your journey to a less stressful, pain free tomorrow doing the things that bring you joy.
