The sparks weren't only flying from the campfires when Corey and Melissa Boyd encountered each other on a camping trip! Although they had met as teenagers, things really started to click on that outing. Melissa tells it this way:

"Corey and I knew each other as teenagers. It was years later, after I moved back from Louisiana, that we met again. My family and I were on a camping trip at Glendo. Corey and his family were also at the lake on the same weekend fishing. They showed up at our camp site with lots of fish they had just caught. They stayed a while and talked and cleaned their fish. Corey and I talked a while. He gave me his number and told me I should give him a call. After a minute he said,'Why don't you give me your number and I'll call you.' I am so glad he did that because I am a very shy person and wasn't sure if I would have called. He called a couple days later and asked me out on a date. I said that sounds great and many other dates later we fell in love. We have three beautiful children and a wonderful life. We are so very blessed."

Corey (Dad) was born and raised in Wyoming and now works for Powder River Coal as a mechanic/welder. He is working on a sprint race car in hopes that he will be able to race it soon. The family enjoys going to the races together. They also love to go to the movies and ride bikes, motorcylces, and ATVs, as well as fishing, camping and swimming. "My wife is a wonderful mother and I am licky to have her in my life. My family is everything to me," Corey says.
