"Rhino is a recognized brand, and it's a great addition to what we're doing," says Ken Olson, owner of Olson's Body and Collision Repair. "The opportunity presented itself, and allowed us to expand and diversify."

Ken and his family continued to expand their business ventures with the opening of Rhino Linings earlier this fall. They acquired Extreme Truck Outfitters about 2 ½ years ago. Extreme is located off of Yellowstone Avenue, closer to the east side of town; Rhino Linings is located on the west side of Casper, off of CY Avenue in the former True Value Hardware Building. The two locations provide opportunity to assist more customers, says Ken.

"The stores mirror one another [in service and product], and having a location on the west side is more customer friendly, offering places on both sides of town for people's convenience," he states.

Olson opened the CY location in September.

Rhino Linings is a flexible polyurethane material made of resin and isocyanine. The product is sprayed on hot, above 130 degrees. One of the important advantages to customers, according to store manager Leonard Kennedy, is the lifetime guarantee offered by the Rhino Corporation. An advantage for him as store manager, he says, is that he has "corporate support."

"If I have a question or problem, I can call them and get backing," Leonard states.

In addition to sprayed on truck bed linings, the new store offers a wide array of truck accessories, including grill guards, toppers, trailer hitches, and seat covers. Thousands of products are available and whatever the store doesn't have in stock can be ordered and usually arrives within 24 to 48 hours.

"Anything you can imagine, we can get for your truck," Ken says.

An added bonus for customers is that his stores are the exclusive sellers in Casper for several products, such as A.R.E. toppers, Ranch Hand bumper and grill guards, Prairie Industries bumper replacements, and RETRAX retractable bed covers. Additionally, Rhino Linings will install the accessories a person orders and purchases through them.

Another added bonus is that the stores work together. For example, if a person buys a truck accessory and wants it painted the same color as his/her truck, the customer can purchase that accessory at Rhino Linings and get it painted at Olson's Body Shop.

"Everything goes hand-in-hand," says Ken.

Currently the store employs two people. However, as the business grows, Ken foresees hiring more people. Rhino Linings is located at 5000 CY Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

A Grand Opening special is currently being run at Rhino Linings through the end of December, says Ken: $75 off a spray bed liner. Additionally, in light of the holiday season, gift cards in nearly any amount are also available.

To learn more about Rhino Linings, to schedule an appointment, or to find out more about the gift cards (think Christmas for your beloved trucker!) or about the Grand Opening Special, call Rhino Linings at 265-1999.
