New Neurosurgeon and Endocrinologist Arrive in Casper
07/01/2006 - The Wyoming Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Neurosurgeon Dr. Brian Weider and Endocrinologist Dr. Babak Pazooki to Casper. The addition of these physicians to our community will provide a great service to Casper and Wyoming.

Dr. Weider is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He has served as a clinical instructor for the Department of Veterans' Affairs Medical Center and as Team Neurosurgeon for both the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. He has also served as Director of the Colorado Neurological Institute Spine program, President/medical Director of Medical innovators and President/CEO of SpineAdvisors.com. In addition to functional neurosurgery, he is interested in cranial trauma and brain injury surgery, surgical management of rheumatological spinal disorders and minimally invasive approaches to spinal surgery. He is an avid outdoorsman and is looking forward to all the opportunities available in Wyoming. Dr. Pazooki completed his clinical fellowship in Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. His research during his fellowship focused on thyroid cancer. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Pazooki received a Masters of Science degree in Physiology and Molecular Biology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
